Save the Date for "A Taste of Thanksgiving" on November 14
The St. Joseph Workers are "cooking up" a fun event to spice up your holiday fare. Join them for "A Taste of Thanksgiving" on Friday, November 14 at 7 p.m.
Sample wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages from local vineyards and breweries. Savor cristinis, cheeses from around the world, appetizers and desserts. Order wine and beer for your holidays and take home winning recipes. The wine and beer samplings will be chosen by connoisseur and beer meister Ken Hayes, owner of Oakdale Cork and Barrel.
A silent auction will feature holiday gifts. All proceeds benefit the St. Joseph Worker Program. Currently, 13 Workers are volunteering in 16 non-profit organizations to expand the network of help and hope that is the hallmark of the Sisters of St. Joseph. The October issue of Enews will have more details about the event. For more information, or to help with the silent auction, contact Kate Brady.
